  WHEN IS IT    HAPPENING?
    5th - 19th November 2016

"Just let go. Let go of how you thought your life should be, and embrace the life that is trying to work its way into your consciousness." Caroline Myss

THE RESORT
The resort is situated on the picturesque Malabar Coast in the southern Indian state of Kerala. The location is just 30 minutes or 21 kilometres from Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram) International Airport. The resort itself is situated right by the sea – far removed from mass tourism, in the peaceful neighbourhood of the village of Chowara. The accommodation is built in the traditional style of southern India, and most of the cottages afford a lovely view of the Arabian Sea. The resort has been awarded the “Best Ayurvedic Centre” several times for the quality of its service. This makes it the only Ayurvedic Resort to have received this award more than once.
Nestled in five acres of tropical garden, you spend your stay in the heart of nature, amidst palms, mango trees and other tropical vegetation. Over 200 different Ayurvedic herbs, some of them rare, thrive in the garden. The terraced layout gives you a splendid view of the seemingly endless Malabar Coast and direct access to the sea. Narrow footpaths take you past sculptures and plants down to the white sands of the beach. Early risers have the opportunity to witness Indian culture at first hand – for instance, by accompanying fishermen from the neighbouring village as they haul in their nets.

FAQ

What is NOT included?

Airfares to Trivandrum, air & ticket taxes/fuel surcharge & items of a personal nature. These can be booked for you.

What should I pack?

Light weight, comfortable casual clothing is best. Ladies, remember to pack something to cover your shoulders and ensure you have a skirt/dress or pants that go below the knees to wear when leaving the resort for some shopping or sightseeing. Also some stretchy gym clothes for Yoga. Mosquito repellent.

What kind of weather should I expect?

November is the start of the dry season in Kerala, when the rain volume is much less than previous months. During this time of year, temperatures can reach an average afternoon high of 31C. The evenings cool down to an average low of around 23C. Even though it is the beginning of the dry season, the weather is still very humid and thunderstorms are not unusual.

Can I bring my partner?

Yes you can! The cost is an extra $3550 for 10 days and $4350 for 14 days to bring your partner.

What happens when I arrive in India?

You will be escorted through Immigration, Customs and Baggage by Jen and once outside the airport will be met by the friendly resort staff who will then take you directly to the resort. The trip is about 30 minutes.

Is there an Agenda?

No. True transformation comes with allowing yourself to be and having the space for change to take place, so everything is optional except for your daily Ayurvedic check in with your Ayurvedic Drs and your treatment which will be daily at 11am.
There is the option to attend daily Pranayama Breathing, Meditation, Yoga and a group coaching session with Jen but none of this is compulsory.
Just bring an open mind and go with your flow.
